Reimagining Yupi’s Website for a More Playful Experience

As a pioneer in Indonesia’s confectionery industry, Yupi has long been a household name, especially among younger audiences. Known for its playful shapes and colorful gummy products, Yupi has built strong brand recognition over the years.

 

As the company continues to expand at scale, the need emerged to evolve its visual identity—one that could better reflect its growth while staying true to its fun and approachable DNA. Brandkraft was brought in to refresh the brand, making it more vibrant, contemporary, and relevant for today’s generation.

THE CHALLENGES

The key challenge was balancing legacy with transformation. Yupi’s identity was already deeply embedded in consumers’ minds, making it crucial to modernize without losing its recognizable charm. At the same time, the brand needed to elevate its visual system to compete in a more dynamic and globally influenced market.

We addressed this by reimagining Yupi’s design language—introducing a more energetic color system, refined typography, and a playful yet structured visual approach. The result is a refreshed identity that feels brighter, more modern, and scalable across various platforms, while preserving the joyful essence that defines Yupi.
