As part of the globally renowned Banyan Tree Group, Garrya Bianti Yogyakarta marks the brand’s expansion into one of Indonesia’s most culturally rich destinations, Yogyakarta. Officially opened in 2024, the hotel brings Garrya’s signature philosophy of mindful living and modern tranquility into a setting deeply rooted in Javanese heritage.

Brandkraft was appointed to develop a cohesive system of brand collaterals, translating Garrya’s serene and refined identity into a tangible, on-site experience. From the moment guests arrive, every touchpoint was designed to reflect a seamless blend of contemporary hospitality and local sensibility.

THE CHALLENGES

The challenge was to create a comprehensive signage and collateral system that feels both intuitive and emotionally aligned with Garrya’s brand philosophy. Beyond functionality, each element needed to embody calmness, clarity, and understated luxury—while remaining culturally sensitive to its Yogyakarta context.

We approached this by crafting a holistic visual language across all guest touchpoints—from arrival signage and room numbers to wayfinding systems and outlet identities, including Refresh and Kopizop. The design balances minimalism with warmth, ensuring clarity without compromising atmosphere. Through material selection, typography, and spatial harmony, we transformed everyday navigation into a quiet extension of the brand experience.
